Your goal should be to be more authentic and start sharing what you and your business are doing each day. 1. Brag About An Employee or Staff Member
Have an employee that is exceeding your expectations or recently went above and beyond to help a customer? Share it with your followers. The great thing about Facebook is you can make a post as short or as long as you’d like. You can share the entire story of of what happened, or you can just acknowledge the employee and thank them for their hard work. It’s up to you. Either way, it will make your employees feel great and it will make customers more excited to come visit your business.
This should go without saying but do your best to include a photo of your employee in the post. Whether you can get a candid shot of them helping a customer or even a head shot of them smiling, either will help boost the reach of your post.
2. Acknowledge an Awesome Customer
All small businesses are built on the back of at least one loyal customer. Next time you see that customer, get a picture with them and share it with your audience. Let them know how much you appreciate their business and how grateful you are to have them as a customer.
You can’t build a great business without loyal customers and they’ll appreciate that you recognize that.
If you’re friends with that customer on Facebook then don’t be afraid to tag them when you post it so all their friends and family can see.
3. Hop on a Daily Trend
People love Monday Motivation (#mondaymotivation), Tuesday Thoughts (#tuesdaythoughts), and “Throw Back Thursday” (#tbt) posts. Take advantage of these opportunities to share relevant content with the rest of the world. One dentist did a nice job thinking outside the box when they posted an old Colgate ad for Throw Back Thursday.
4. Go Meme Hunting
Social media loves funny images so take a few minutes to find a funny meme about your industry. To get started simply Google “[industry] meme” or “[niche] meme” or “[service] meme”, then click on “Images” and flip through your options.

6. Post a Motivational Quote
This goes along with #3 except motivational quotes work every day of the week. Find a quote that will really inspire your audience and then put it on an image and share it.

If we go back to the top and follow Gary V’s advice, then I encourage you all to go live and just document your business. Start by saying “hi”, introduce yourself, give them a brief tour of your office or store, introduce them to some of your staff and products, and close the video with an invitation to come visit you. Get super ninja by offering a secret special offer for anyone who watches the video.
